This video was part of my final major project in my first year of games development at ‘Abingdon And Witney College’.
The piece was inspired by the fantasy genre and especially the DnD campaign I was running at the time. This work was the combination of all of the best skills I had developed that year despite having a rather terrible teacher at the time who was later fired as a result of his teaching skills. This work earned me a Merit overall.
This is a piece that I made in my own time to practice lighting techniques. The actual silhouette is inspired by a character from the popular anime and manga, ‘Demon Slayer’ using the silhouette and swords of the character Inosuke.
This was one of my first required 3D models for collage work as was part of a project where we were making corridor-based game where each door led to a different environment that told a story of the corridor being discovered at different points in time. This image led to a cave where some form of organisation had discovered one of the doors and was monitoring it for activity.
This piece is was made as an experiment with using Blender’s fire assets which although didn’t pan out as the fire kept turning to a more smoky substance upon render, however I did end up creating a different piece that I think looks quite cool and is inspired by the three Pokemon Litwick, Applin and Foongus.
This piece is based on the ‘Chomper Bombs’ used by the character ‘Jinx’ in the show ‘Arcane’. Everything apart from the background was created by myself in ‘Blender’. The main goal with this piece was to practice using the texture paint window in ‘Blender’.
